Chelsea became a solicitor in September 2024 and now conducts a broad range of client cases including cases involving very significant outlays on expert evidence, litigation risk and complex scientific and machanical issues. She assisted with a 7 day Supreme Court trial in February 2024 and then ran a sucessful 3 day QIRC trial with Counsel in September 2024 in Dodd v Workers’ Compensation Regulator [2024] QIRC 273. She has experience with obtaining extensions for clients who have missed the time limit for making their claim and obtaining orders for disclosure of evidence. Chelsea studied Law and Biomedical Science student at QUT. She topped her biology class in senior high school and also enjoyed art and english. Chelsea enjoys nature, photography and the outdoors and volunteers her time to assist with scientific studies that will promote the preservation of endangered native animals. She has a special interest in Quolls and has studied the impact of predictive policing on indigenous Australians. She has been with us since August 2023.
